Broke down on the side of I-95 in my 39-foot-long RV towing a full-size bronco. When Good Sam failed to find a provider in the first two hours, we searched and found Tim's Towing. Originally thought we'd need a dolly tow based on the profuse amount of black smoke coming from our rear axle when we pulled over, but instead they dispatched Chris to assess our situation. He quickly identified an air leak causing our brakes to lock down, hence the black smoke! Once we built up enough air to free the brakes, he guided us to an old weigh station nearby so we could await a mobile mechanic. While I'm sure they would have towed us anywhere we wanted to go, they didn't provide that as the only option. Instead, they got us to a safe place to await a mobile mechanic, assured us they could tow us safely if needed, and refused to charge us to get us off the road. The next day Chris even texted when he realized the RV had been moved from the weigh station to make sure we had made it safely home. Couldn't ask for better service and we certainly felt like we were more than just an invoice. Highly recommend this company!

Tim's Towing and Recovery is a class act! Yesterday my car wouldn't start in the Tybee Island North Beach parking lot. After several attempts to start the engine, I phoned AAA and I was told that I would have a 4 hour waiting window. I wasn't happy about this, but I felt stuck. After 2 hours, AAA auto-phoned me to say that the window had been extended by another hour. By this point I was feeling a bit frantic because I was dehydrated from sitting in the vehicle in the sun, I needed to use the restroom, and also I needed to get home to take my medication. I decided to call another tow company and I am so grateful that I found Tim's Towing. Tisha was super helpful and professional when I called in. She expedited the call and made me feel like I mattered. The driver James Jenkins came out quickly (in under 45 minutes) and he deftly hooked up my car and had us on the road in minutes. James is very personable, and he calmed what had been a really stressful situation for me. I would recommend that you keep Tim's Towing phone number in your wallet!
